Tips & Variations
  • This turn travels across the floor and stays on the same foot (does not reverse)
  • One repetition = one rotation
  • Since this is a 6-count turn, it will not fit easily into an 4/4 piece of music, but if you continue repeating it, in four rotations you will have end on count "8" of the 3rd measure (if that makes sense to anyone, please let me know... basically 6 counts x 4 turns = 24 counts divided by 8 = 4 measures... ok my head hurts now).
  • The easiest part to turn on is the brush back and heel drops. It may be possible to get two rotations in one repetition by spinning more when the heel is lifted for the heel drop, but it probably won't be easy to increase the speed if that is the case.
